What I Thought I Knew (Google Read & Write)

Google Read & Write

I recently attended a local Google Summit in Kitchener Ontario both as a presenter as well as an attendee.  Although presenting is an amazing opportunity it is also nice to be a learner and share what you’ve seen with those within your network.  I was extremely fortunate to participate in one such session and left feeling both motivated and determined to add this into my practice for not only my students but my school as well.  The ironic thing was I was admittedly attending the session to learn about a new math tool “EquatIO”.  I went in thinking I knew a great deal about what Google Read & Write had to offer but I was terribly mistaken.  I felt like a kid sitting in the audience literally laughing in astonishment over all of the fantastic applications this platform offers.  I want to thank the presenter Matt Brown (@TH_MattB) from “texthelp” for the game changing experience.  This made me realize the importance of sitting in on more sessions with the people who use the given applications much more than myself.  Now because of one small decision so many more will benefit.  That is the power of learning!

Below I have included a few videos for what I learned.  Try them out!
